Stages of Grief

When we lost someone, very often we tell people that," I am okay, I am okay, I will be okay." People often don't realize they are not okay.

There are 5 stages of grieving that almost everyone will go through when you lost someone that you love:

(1) Denial

We often refuse the death occurs

(2) Anger

Anger at doctors, anger at God...etc. Keep asking "Why he/she cannot live longer? Why the doctor could not save him/her?"

(3) Bargaining stage

People often try to bargain with God and ask for more time, we direct our requests to higher power, hope the higher power can help us.

(4) Depression

We recognize the death is true, there is nothing we can do. We feel panic, we feel sad, we feel helpless.

(5) Acceptance

After a long period of time, we finally accept the loss slowly. We still feel sad and regret at this stage, but less anger and emotion.

5 stages may not occur in order, some people may not go through every stage. Cultural differences also plays an important role the way they grieve. LaGreen Funeral has funeral consultant that has counselling qualification in order to help the grieving families. Our goal is to minimize the sadness and sorrow of the people who lost their loved ones.
