Case Details

The deceased was a grandmother with many children and grandchildren. Since most of the children are Buddhists, we arranged 7 high-ranking monks in Po Lin Monastery to chant sutras for the deceased. The family members expected that there would be a certain number of relatives and friends coming to funeral, so we suggested to arrange a large hall for the ceremony. Before the ceremony, we also arranged series of flower baskets for family members and friends to purchase which made the whole hall look more warm and gracious. The children appreciated the cremated remains turned to ashes gemstones and jerelleries, we had use the cremated remains to make different kinds of jewelleries so all her children and grandchildren received one jewellery or gemstone. It's one of the ways of embrace the memory day by day.
